AUGUSTA — An Augusta man convicted of driving drunk after his license was revoked as a habitual offender was sentenced Friday in Kennebec County Superior Court.

Brent R. Lavallee, 29, was ordered to spend seven years in prison, with all but two years suspended, and three years’ probation.

He was convicted of operating under the influence, operating after habitual offender revocation and violating conditions of release, all of which occurred Nov. 25, 2013, in Sidney.

The sentence is concurrent to a 24-month probation revocation for a previous felony operating under the influence conviction.

Lavallee’s driver’s license and registration privileges were suspended for 10 years, and he was fined $3,100.

Several other people were sentenced this week in separate hearings in Kennebec County Superior Court:

• Richard Irish Jr., 33, of Bradley, domestic violence assault July 6, 2013, in Waterville; 30 day jail sentence, credit for time served.

• Jaimee Lynn Laney, 35, of Vassalboro, unlawful possession of scheduled drug Aug. 22, 2013, in Albion, 364 day jail sentence, all but 10 days suspended, one year probation, $400 fine.

• Robert Stanchina, 46, of Monmouth, operating under the influence March 17 in Winthrop; $500 fine, 150 day license suspension.

• Jacob L. Weinberg, 35, of Waterville, criminal threatening July 4, 2013, in Waterville; 18 day jail sentence, credit for time served.
