Hallowell, what a nice, warm & friendly town. What a GREAT idea My husband/family are from Hallowell. Beautiful town, down 2 earth people. It is a shame of closing Addie's Attic in Augusta. Where U go 4 necessities of daily living. St. Marks still has a food bank, basic needs & clothing bank (USED TO BE ADDIE'S ATTIC-)blankets/pots/pans/toys etc...ALL FREE (LOTS NEW) They need to change the name 2 Augusta's New Clothing Bank. The PEOPLE of Hallowell & neighboring towns will be going to Slates to benefit Hallowells Food Bank. If only Augusta would of done that 4 Addie's Attic instead of just Shutting the door to all necessities (that were not clothes)blankets/pots/pans etc... Goes to show U how 1 town pulls together 2 work AS A COMMUNITY INSTEAD OF SHUTTING DOORS AS THEY DID 2 ADDIE'S ATTIC & NOW IT'S ONLY A CLOTHING BANK. St. Marks needs 2 re-think what they did 2 Augusta & area towns, that needed the service. Kudos Hallowell! GREAT WORK

Kudos to the Hallowell Food Bank for doing so much for so many. The auction sounds like a great time and for worthy cause.
