Auburn police looking for armed robber

Police say the man fled on foot from Wheeler's Market with an undisclosed amount of cash Saturday night.

AUBURN — Auburn police are seeking a suspect who robbed a store at gunpoint.

Officials say a white man wearing dark sunglasses and a scarf over his face entered Wheeler's Market at about 7 p.m. Saturday, pulled a gun, and demanded money.

Police say the man fled on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash. Nobody was injured.

The man is described as between 5 feet 10 inches and 6 feet tall, weighing 180 to 200 pounds and dressed in a blue sweat shirt and dark pants.
