GARDINER — Two 16-year-olds and a 15-year-old were charged with violating the city’s curfew early today.

The three teens were cited after police received calls about juvenile offenses on Maine Avenue at 1:12 a.m. They were given summonses to appear in Augusta District Court.

A Gardiner ordinance sets curfew hours from 11:01 p.m. until 6 a.m. During that time, anyone 17 or younger is not permitted to remain or linger in a public place except in emergencies or when accompanied by a parent or guardian.
