Augusta area police reports for Jan. 29, 2014.

Augusta

Tuesday: At 7:52 a.m., a 15-year-old was charged with assault by police responding to a complaint at Cony High School on Pierce Drive.

10:09 a.m., trespassing was reported at the Department of Health and Human Service’s adult bureau on Anthony Avenue.

11:23 a.m., there was an accident on Medical Center Parkway.

11:37 a.m., there was a report of disorderly conduct at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.

12:25 p.m., there was an accident on Hatch Hill Road.

1:02 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Willow Street.

2:42 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Glenridge Drive.

3:23 p.m., a 39-year-old Pittston man was charged with assault by police responding to a complaint at MaineGeneral Medical Center on Medical Center Parkway. The man, originally taken to the hospital by another police department, reportedly assaulted an emergency room worker, causing minor injuries.

4:53 p.m., there was a report of a burglary on Marlboro Avenue.

5:33 p.m., littering was reported on Church Hill Road.

6:54 p.m., threatening was reported on Franklin Street.

8:13 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Northern Avenue.

8:51 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Sewall Street.

Wednesday: At 12:19 a.m., there was a traffic complaint on Cedar Street.

2:11 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Patterson Street.

2:24 a.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Bridge Street.

9:18 a.m., firefighters responded to an alarm on Civic Center Drive.

10:30 a.m., there was a traffic complaint on Bolton Hill Road.

11:30 a.m., there was an accident on Stone Street.

12:01 p.m., there was an accident on West River Road.

1:27 p.m., shoplifting was reported on Civic Center Drive.

Gardiner

Tuesday: At 9:34 a.m., a burglar alarm sounded on Bridge Street.

11:05 a.m., police and fire responded to a gas leak on Highland Avenue. The section of road near the Regional School Unit 11 superintendent’s office was briefly closed.

Tuesday: At 9:01 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Nye Road.

Chelsea

Tuesday: At 11:35 a.m., an alarm sounded on Dondero Road.

China

Tuesday: At 2:24 p.m., theft was reported at Hannaford on Hannaford Drive.

4:32 p.m., an alarm sounded on Vassalboro Road.

6:01 p.m., there was an accident on Neck Road.

Farmington

Tuesday: At 2:18 p.m., there was a report of an accident on Northern Avenue.

6:45 p.m., threatening was reported on Maine Avenue.

Wednesday: At 7:28 a.m., an alarm sounded on Myrtle Street.

Tuesday: At 5:13 p.m., a 26-year-old Caratunk man was charged with attaching false plates during a traffic stop on U.S. Route 202.

Tuesday: At 1:47 p.m., a burglary was reported on Rome Road.

2:13 p.m., a burglary was reported on Rome Road.

Sidney

Tuesday: At 6:12 p.m., a burglary was reported on Milkweed Lane.

Wayne

Tuesday: At 10:49 a.m., there was a report of counterfeit money on Main Street.

Arrests

Augusta

Tuesday: At 9:02 p.m., Michael O. Colfer, 62, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of operating under the influence by police responding to a crash on Bolton Hill Road.

Wednesday: At 1:35 a.m., Kendra Dian Knight, 35, of Augusta, was arrested on a charge of domestic violence assault by police responding to a complaint on Cedar Street.

Hallowell

Wednesday: At 8:59 a.m., Verle L. Harris, 40, of Randolph, was arrested on warrants and new charges of operating after suspension and violating conditions of release during a traffic stop on Water Street.

Monmouth

Tuesday: At 11:36 p.m., Timothy James Harkins, 35, of Winthrop, was arrested on a warrant on U.S. Route 202.
