Augusta

Saturday: A 33-year-old woman was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop on Route 3.

Wednesday: At 4:23 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Boothby Street.

4:23 p.m., an assault was reported on Jabee Lane.

4:45 p.m., there was an accident on Memorial Circle.

5:06 p.m., a disturbance was reported on Boothby Street.

5:59 p.m., a person was reported missing from Water Street.

6:16 p.m., trespassing was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.

9:37 p.m., disorderly conduct was reported on Green Street.

9:39 p.m., there was a traffic complaint on State Street.

10:47 p.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on State Street.

10:48 p.m., an assault was reported on Summer Street.

Thursday: At 12 a.m., there was a report of a disturbance at the Country Village Motel on Riverside Drive.

12:16 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on State Street.

4:19 a.m., a disturbance was reported on Cony Street.

6:34 a.m., a domestic disturbance was reported on Tibbetts Street.

9:41 a.m., a fire alarm sounded on Glenridge Drive.

11:30 a.m., there was an accident at the intersection of Civic Center Drive and Wilson Street.

12:27 p.m., shoplifting was reported at Walmart on Civic Center Drive.

2:22 p.m., firefighters responded to an alarm at Jewett Hall on University Drive.

Belgrade

Jan. 15: A male juvenile was charged with criminal mischief after police responded to the Central Maine Learning Center on Oakland Road. The juvenile reportedly broke a door, punched holes in the walls and destroyed a ceiling in one of the rooms. The boy was released to his mother.

Wednesday: At 2:29 p.m., there was a report of drug possession on Route 27.

5:20 p.m., a car hit a deer on Oakland Road.

China

Wednesday: At 9:22 a.m., there was an accident on Route 3.

Farmingdale

Jan. 15: A 22-year-old man was charged with marijuana possession during a traffic stop on Maine Avenue.

Fayette

Jan. 14: Police responded to a report of a family fight on Chesterville Ridge Road. A woman and uncle were arguing, but the altercation had not turned physical. The woman and uncle were separated. There were no charges.

Gardiner

Wednesday: At 3:52 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Bridge Street.

5:41 p.m., there was a report of gunshots on Old Brunswick Road.

Thursday: At 3:40 a.m., an alarm sounded on U.S. Route 201.

Hallowell

Thursday: At 2:51 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity on Middle Street.

3:05 p.m., there was an accident at the intersection of Water and Academy streets.

Litchfield

Jan. 15: A 63-year-old man was charged with operating with an expired registration more than 150 days during a traffic stop on Route 197.

Jan. 17: A 26-year-old woman was charged with operating after suspension and failure to provide proof of insurance during a traffic stop for speeding on Route 126.

Monmouth

Wednesday: At 2:39 p.m., a burglary was reported at South Monmouth Market on South Road.

7:40 p.m., suspicious activity was reported on Route 126.

Readfield

Wednesday: At 6:54 p.m., an alarm sounded on Main Street.

Rome

Wednesday: At 3:46 p.m., a burglary was reported on Castle Road.

West Gardiner

Jan. 14: A homeowner called police after reportedly returning home to discover cash was missing. The investigation is ongoing.

Jan. 15: A 34-year-old man was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop on High Street.

A 44-year-old West Gardiner man was charged with violating probation.

Windsor

Jan. 15: A 28-year-old Hollis man was charged with operating after suspension during a traffic stop for an inspection sticker violation on Route 32.

Winthrop

Tuesday: At 5:48 p.m., minor injury was reported after a crash on U.S. Route 202.

7:09 p.m., there was a report of trespassing.

Wednesday: At 10:44 a.m., there was a 911 hang-up.

1:32 p.m., there was a report of suspicious activity.

ARRESTSAugusta

Jan. 16: A mother and daughter from Augusta were arrested during a traffic stop on First Avenue. Kathy Tupper, 50, and her daughter, 22-year-old Samantha Tupper, were both arrested on charges of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and sale and use of drug paraphernalia. Kathy Tupper also was arrested on a warrant and a charge of violating conditions of release. Both were found guilty Jan. 17 in Augusta District Court. Kathy Tupper was found convicted of unlawful possession of scheduled drugs and violating conditions of release. She was sentenced to 10 days in jail and fined $400. Samantha Tupper convicted of possession of hypodermic apparatuses and falsifying physical evidence. She was sentenced to 24 hours in jail and fined $200.

Belgrade

Jan. 16: Leon Burgess, 27, was arrested and charged with violating conditions of release after police reportedly discovered marijuana and alcohol in his vehicle during a traffic stop on Route 135.
