NASHUA, N.H. — A collection of artifacts and memorabilia from the Titanic is up for auction in New Hampshire.
One of the top items is an original Titanic deck chair, one of only seven complete deck chairs known to exist. There's also a rare photo of the iceberg taken two days before the great ship struck it and sank on April 15, 1912.
The auction is being hosted Sunday morning by RR Auction of Amherst. It's being held at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Nashua.
RR Auction held an earlier event this year of Titanic memorabilia. A letter from the bandleader who played on ship as it sank sold for nearly $155,000.
