1 dead, 2 injured in Auburn collision

The Associated Press

AUBURN — Auburn police say one person has died and two people have been hurt in a two-vehicle crash in the city.

Police say Rick Farr was driving east on Minot Avenue at about 10:30 a.m. Sunday when he collided with a westbound Jeep driven by Matthew Harris of Arundel.

The 43-year-old Farr was killed instantly.

Harris was taken to a hospital in critical condition. His passenger, 35-year-old Sherri Walkeling, was hospitalized with less serious injuries.

Police say Harris may have had some sort of medical emergency just before the crash. The accident remains under investigation.
