AUGUSTA -- Women, Work, and Community will offer a series of free workshops for individuals who want to build and strengthen their business efforts.
The series, which will take place from 3 to 6 p.m. every Tuesday until June, will be held at the University of Maine campus.
Topics include Introduction to Self-employment, Easy Steps for Business Tax Prep, The Basics of Starting a Business, Getting Credit Ready for a Business Loan, Easy Bookkeeping Methods, Planning the Financial Future of your Business, Marketing Your Business, and E-commerce and Web 2.0 Selling.
Entrepreneurs, artisans, veterans, workers in transition and those interested in adding to their business skills are welcome.
