Titus honored by Northeast Region Certified Crop Advisors

VASSALBORO -- The Northeast Region Certified Crop Advisors Board of Directors recently recognized Lauchlin Titus as their 2011 Certified Crop Advisor of the Year.

Titus, a certified professional agronomist and crop advisor, owns AgMatters LLC in Vassalboro.

Titus is chairman of the Maine Nutrient Management Review Board and president of the Maine Vegetable and Small Fruit Growers Association. He has served on the Maine Agriculture in the Classroom council and Kennebec County's Maine Farm Bureau. He is a member of the American Society of Agronomy.

Titus is a sales agent for Seedway Vegetable Seed and the marketing and technical representative for Seedway LLC in Maine and also works with the Maine Department of Agriculture.

In Vassalboro, Titus serves as a selectperson.
