Make, Take and Bake a Holiday Pie will take place from noon to 3 p.m. Wednesday. Children will make their own French apple pie during this hands-on cooking lesson. The cost is $5 and registration is required.
Drop and Shop, It's Pajama Day, will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 5 p.m. Friday. Children are encouraged to come in their pajamas. Children should bring a bagged lunch; snacks will be provided. Each four-hour increment is $20.

Thanksgiving dinner
AUGUSTA -- Green Street United Methodist Church, 13 Green St., will offer its 32nd annual community Thanksgiving dinner from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
There will be turkey, potatoes, peas, squash, stuffing, cheese and crackers and pies. There is no cost.
Home delivery is available. To arrange delivery, call 622-0843 by Wednesday.

GARDINER -- A free Thanksgiving dinner sponsored by the Augusta Valley Scottish Rite Masons will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday at Gardiner Area High School.
There will be turkey, mashed potatoes, squash, turnips, gravy, vegetable, and pie.
Delivery is available to residents of Hallowell, Farmingdale, West Gardiner, Gardiner, Litchfield, Richmond, Dresden, Pittston, Randolph, and Chelsea.

READFIELD -- A free Thanksgiving meal sponsored by the Maranacook-area school district will be delivered from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Thursday.
Meals include turkey, mashed potatoes, gravy, stuffing, peas, cranberry sauce, dinner rolls, milk and dessert.
Meals will be delivered to Manchester, Readfield, Wayne, Fayette, Mount Vernon and surrounding towns.

WINTHROP -- The Winthrop Rotary Club will sponsor a free Thanksgiving dinner from 12:30 to 3 p.m. Thursday at St. Francis Parish Hall.
