HALLOWELL -- Spectrum Generations, the William S. Cohen Community Center, has announced its recent bridge and cribbage winners.
Cribbage winners on Jan. 25 were Lou Ashland, who placed first; Dorothy Murray, second; and Ken Morrison, third.
Cribbage winners on Jan. 23 were Vi Verhille and Wayne Curtis, first; Norm Veilleux and Cliff Brawn, second; Linda Emery and Ray Beaudoin, third; and Lou Turmelle and Viola Buckman, fourth. High hand went to Lou Turmelle.
Jan. 20 cribbage winners were Ken Shephard and Dick Tripp, who placed first; Cliff Brawn and Dick Frazee, second; and Vi Bucknam and Bob Atkins, third. High hand went to Joel Marsh.
Jan. 19 bridge winners were Nancy Wadleigh, who placed first; Vinal Look, second; Wilma Bickford, third; and Laura Somers, fourth.
Game day bridge winners on Jan. 18 were Ken Morrison, who placed first; Jane Gilbert, second; and Joan McCarthy, third.
Duplicate bridge winners announced
AUGUSTA -- The Augusta Duplicate Bridge Club has announced its recent winners.
Winners on Jan. 26 were Paul Mitnik and Henry Lerette, Tony Frates and Nancy Lenfest, Jane Elliott and John Erdman, and Fred and Sam Lavallee. Winners on Jan. 25 were Shirley West and Frank Shorey, Paul Sherman and Paul Mitnik, Rosemarie Goodwin and Jeanine Kivus, and Pat Updegraff and Jean Williams.
