ROCHESTER, N.Y. — The following local Maine students were named to the fall 2012 quarter dean’s list at Rochester Institute of Technology: Gabriel Greenlaw of Pittston, a third-year student in the College of Imaging Arts and Sciences; Brian Nugent of Monmouth, a first-year student in B. Thomas Golisano College of Computing and Information Sciences; and Mallory Rauch of Palermo, a second-year student in Kate Gleason College of Engineering.

Thomas College lists dean’s students

WATERVILLE — Thomas College has announced local students in the Continuing Education Division named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list.

The students, all business administration majors, are Angela Harvey of Chelsea; Jennifer Marlowe of Gardiner; Katharine Moore of Manchester; Neysa Swift of Palermo; Tanya Naborowsky of Vassalboro; and Diana Winkley of Windsor.

Kendall named UMF Wilson Fellow

FARMINGTON — Grace Kendall of Vienna has been named a Wilson Fellow in the Fall 2012 Michael D. Wilson Scholars and Fellows Program by the The University of Maine at Farmington Undergraduate Research Council.

A senior majoring in history, Kendall is using a psychological theory to analyze the behavior and decisions of U.S. President Andrew Jackson. Her faculty sponsor is Chris O’Brien, associate professor of history.

Local students named to dean’s list

FRANKLIN, Mass. — Two local students have been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Dean College.

They are Claire Kerr of Winthrop, Maine, a dance major, and Megan McQuarrie of Vassalboro, Maine, a dance major.

Rolfe named to president’s list

BURLINGTON, Vt. — Paige Rolfe of Augusta, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester president’s list at Champlain College.

Rolfe is a legal studies major. She is the daughter of Christine Rolfe of Augusta and Theodore Rolfe of Farmingdale, Maine.

Saint Michael’s students study abroad

COLCHESTER, Vt. — Two local Maine students, Loren Lachapelle of Litchfield and Lauren McHatten of Winthrop, both students at Saint Michael’s College, are studying abroad for the spring 2013 semester.

Lachapelle, a junior business administration major, is studying at Bond University in Queensland, Australia. She is the daughter of Timothy Lachapelle of Litchfield and a graduate of Edward Little High School.

McHatten, a junior psychology major, is student for the semester at University of Salzburg in Salzburg, Austria. She is the daughter of Clifford and Lynn McHatten of Winthrop and a graduate of Winthrop High School.

Sirois named to Cazenovia dean’s list

CAZENOVIA, N.Y. — Molly A. Sirois of Randolph, Maine, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at Cazenovia College.

Sirois is a junior majoring in human services, specializing in counseling and mental health. She is a graduate of Gardiner Area High School, Gardiner, Maine.

Tondreau receives dean’s honors

BIDDEFORD — Heather Tondreau, daughter of Raymond and Sonya Tondreau of Whitefield, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

Tondreau is a sophomore majoring in occupational therapy. She is a 2011 graduate of Cony High School.

Loiki named to UNE dean’s list

BIDDEFORD — Tressa Loiko, daughter of Dale and Diane York of Jefferson and Tony Loiko of Augusta, has been named to the fall 2012 semester dean’s list at the University of New England.

A 2012 graduate of Cony High School, Loiko is a nursing major. She is also actively involved at the university in the Dance Team, Presidential Scholar Program and Nursing Club.
