Snapshot: Raising Mount Vernon

Julie and Dick Hall, second from right, brace a wall Sunday with George Ames, left, and Bernal Lake at the Halls' farm in Mount Vernon. Friends, relatives and neighbors helped the Julie and Dick Hall raise a barn over the weekend on the site at Raydic Farm where one burned in December 2009. The 47 people who volunteered Saturday and Sunday were treated to donated meals.
