SNAPSHOT: Mellow hogs

Ben Slayton rubs the shoulders of a hog Sunday outside his Gardiner home. Slayton is raising pasture pork to sell at the butcher shop he operates in Wales.  Farmers' Gate Market sells locally raised beef, chicken and pork, Slayton said.
