SNAPSHOT: Rock on the River

Ken LeBrecque leads the Ken LeBrecque Group during their jazz show on the Warren Heald Bandstand on Tuesday night in Hallowell. The annual Rock On The River concert series continues through the end of August every Tuesday night from 7 to 8:30 p.m. The concerts are held near the corner of Water and Winthrop Streets. Next week's band will be Elderberry Jam.

Tadpole Patrol has openings

The Friends of the Cobbossee Watershed has announced the remaining openings for Tadpole Patrol, a summertime program that teaches children in second-12th grade about lake ecosystem and how to test water quality.
