Sanborn,Richter

MOORESVILLE, N.C. -- Doris Lyons of Vassalboro, Maine, and Chris Sanborn of South China, Maine, have announced the engagement of their daughter, Sarah Sanborn of Mooresville, N.C. to Allen Richter, also of Mooresville, son of Shirley Kostal of Wymore, Neb. and the late Thomas Richter of Beatrice, Neb.

Sarah is a 1995 graduate of Winslow High School and a 2002 graduate of Keene State College, earning a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education. She is employed at Carolina Recording Systems in Mooresville.

Allen is a 1988 graduate of Odell High School, Odell, Neb. and served four years in the United States Air Force. He is owner of A.F. Richter Construction in Mooresville.

A Spring 2011 wedding is planned.
