London,Dutil

WATERVILLE -- Anne and Monty Smith of Waterville have announced the engagement of their daughter, Katie Ruth London of Augusta to Nicholas Brian Dutil of Augusta, son of Linda and Brian Dutil of Waterville.

Ms. London is a 2004 graduate of Waterville High School and a 2008 graduate of the University of Maine Farmington earning a degree in elementary education. She is an elementary school teacher in Augusta.

Mr. Dutil is a 2005 graduate of Waterville High School and a 2009 graduate of the University of Maine at Orono earning a degree in surveying engineering technology. He is a surveying engineer for the Maine Department of Transportation in Scarborough.

An Aug. 27, 2011, wedding is planned.
