YARMOUTH -- Sarah Huntley Dawson and Jonathan Andrew Carr were married May 8, 2010, at First Parish Congregational Church in Yarmouth, Maine. The Reverend Linda Gard officiated the ceremony.

The bride is the daughter of Peter and Judy Dawson of Hallowell, Maine, and the groom is the son of Jon and Linda Carr of Guilford, Connecticut.

Jane Dawson, niece of the bride, was the flower girl. Al Dawson, nephew of the bride, was the ring bearer. Rachel Goodrich, sister of the groom, stood up with Jonathan. Ushers were Jonathan Dawson, brother of the bride and Brian Patrick, friend of the groom. The bride's cousins, Kate Dawson and Julie Williams, sang "Morning Has Broken" as part of the ceremony. The reception followed at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, Maine.

Sarah graduated from Hall-Dale High School in Hallowell, Maine, and received her BA from Ohio Wesleyan University in Delaware, Ohio. She teaches at Mt. Ararat Middle School in Topsham, Maine.

The groom is a graduate of Avon Old Farm School in Avon, Connecticut, and Prescott College in Prescott, Arizona. He is a self-employed landscaper and carpenter.

After a honeymoon in Camden, Maine, they now reside in Yarmouth, Maine.
