JAY -- Heather D. Butler and Jason H. Lee were wed on June 26, 2010, at the home of Gina Tardif in Jay, Maine.
Jason is the son of Richard Lee of Wayne and Diane Lee of Jay. Heather is the daughter of Fulton Butler of Harpswell and Roberta Butler, now deceased.
Jason was attended by groomsmen Dave Haskell, Seth Emery, Reed Lee and Scott Dodd. The groom and groomsmen wore matching tan tuxedos from Strictly Formal in Augusta.
Heather was attended by Lisa Peterson, Amanda Inman, Angie Danforth and Doreen Plourde. The bridal party wore original gowns by Veronica's Creations of Greene, and hairstyles by Allison Buzzell. The bride's gown was white chiffon, tulle princess skirt layered over a satin, halter cocktail dress with beaded embellishments.
Flower bouquets and centerpieces were created by Jennifer Garrigan of Auburn. The ceremony was a simple, outdoor affair accompanied by acoustic folk guitar and fiddle provided by Andy Buckland, with reception music by the band Generics of Boothbay Harbor.
Jason and Heather honeymooned at Breezes Resort in Negril, Jamaica immediately following the wedding reception. The couple now resides in Wayne, Maine.
Jason is a self-employed carpenter and arborist.
Heather works as a caseworker for the Department of Health and Human Services in Portland.
