Bixby,Shanahan

ALBION -- Ann F. Bixby of Albion has announced the engagement of her daughter, Bethany Bixby of Lowell, Mass. to Daniel T. Shanahan of Lowell, Mass., son of Thomas and Patricia Shanahan of Tewskbury, Mass. Bethany is also the daughter of the late James R. Bixby.

Bethany is a graduate of Lawrence High School in Fairfield and Husson University in Bangor. She is employed in Nursing at Lahey Clinic in Burlington, Mass.

Daniel is a graduate of Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in Billerica, Mass. and is a 2005 graduate of the University of Maine, Orono. He is a Physical Education Teacher at Boxborough (Mass.) Public Schools.

A March 17, 2011, wedding is planned.
