Valley High School boys basketball coach Wade Morrill revealed an interesting stat Tuesday night when talking about Carrington Miller surpassing the 1,000-point milestone in his career. Morrill, who graduated from Valley and played on two Class D state championship teams, played with four players who eventually scored 1,000 points.
Those four players, Nick Pelotte, Jason Hartwell, Luke Hartwell and Chris Willer, were part of a Valley destiny that won 101 consecutive games and six straight Class D state titles.
Miller was the first Valley player since Travis Hovey to surpass 1,000 points for his career when he scored 36 in a 92-39 win against Buckfield.Tweet
