The Mt. Blue offensive and defensive lines will get a boost this week, with the return of senior Nick Searles. The 6-foot-4, 295 pound Searles missed the preseason and last week’s game against Brewer with an illness.

“He’s our best lineman, so that’s going to be a good thing for us,” Mt. Blue coach Gary Parlin said.

A starter at defensive tackle last season, Searles had 21 tackles and a sack last season.

Mt. Blue plays at Madison on Friday.
