A week from today, Cony and Gardiner will face off in their annual rivalry game at Hoch Field in Gardiner. The Rams lead the series 67-57-10 and had a two-game winning streak snapped in the series last fall, when Gardiner won at Alumni Field in Augusta, 36-34 in overtime.
That game will be streamed live on our websites, by Munzing Media. If you can't be at Hoch Field at 7 p.m. next Friday, be sure to tune into kjonline.com/sports or onlinesentinel.com/sports to watch the game.
We are also preparing to start shooting a series of videos, Gridiron Gurus Two-a-Days, which will be posted to our websites in the weeks leading up to opening night, Aug. 31. Travis Lazarczyk and Bill Stewart will visit each of the 16 football teams in our area for video previews, including interviews with players and coaches.
