The Crystal Ball's Larry Sabato released his pre-Labor Day thoughts on the general mood of the electorate across the county -- it's going to be a good year for Republicans -- and his picks for House, Senate and gubernatorial races.
He lists Maine in the "toss up" category for the governor's race.
As we enter the final 60 days before the election, Sabato and his crew at the University of Virginia will continue to update their predictions. His essay is interesting reading heading into the long holiday weekend.
