WATERVILLE — Travis Lueck, who was an all-American kick returner for the University of North Dakota, was named an assistant coach for the Colby football team Tuesday.

Lueck will be the wide receivers coach for the Mules under head coach Jonathan Micheaes. He played wide receiver and returned kickoffs and punts at North Dakota.

Lueck is a native of East Grand Forks, Minn. He earned NCAA Division II First-Team All-American honors in 2003 as a return specialist.
