Nate Lovitz

WATERVILLE — Lawrence High School graduate Nate Lovitz has been named an assistant coach for the Colby College women’s soccer team.

Lovitz, who will work under Colby head coach Jen Holsten, was a four-year starter and a 2008 graduate of Bowdoin College. A goalie, Lovitz went 36-14-2 during his collegiate career, making 226 saves and earning 22 shutouts.

Lovitz worked as an assistant coach for the Teton County School District boys soccer team last season. He was also a volunteer goalkeepers coach for the Colby men’s soccer team for the 2008 season.
