Will Bardaglio says he “definitely made the right decision” to attend Colby-Sawyer College in New London, N.H.
It’s tough to argue with the shooting guard from Wayne.
Bardaglio, a former Maranacook standout guard, leads the Chargers with 16.3 points a game. He’s shooting an eye-popping 45.3 percent (43 for 95) from beyond the 3-point arc.
He needs just 21 3-pointers to break school record of 308, which Jim Durrell set from in 1994.
So, does Bardaglio think he’s left his mark at the school and program?
“I don’t know,” he said. “There are a lot of good players who’ve played here. It’s hard to say if I’ve left a mark. I think overall I’ve had a good career high.”
Colby-Sawyer coach Bill Foti called it a “great career.”
“I know when the opposition is putting the scouting report together they are talking about Bardaglio,” he said. “He can blow a game open. He’s one of the best shooters in the country.”
