WATERVILLE — Four Colby College football players earned spots on the New England Small College Athletic Conference football all-conference team.

Right guard John Gilboy, tight end Spenser Merwin, defensive end Ryan Veillette and wide receiver Connor Walsh were all named to the second team.

Walsh had 41 catches for 424 yards and two touchdowns this season. He finished his career with 2,392 all-purpose yards.

Veillette finished third in the conference in sacks with 5.5 and was sixth on the team in total tackles with 38.

Merwin had 41 receptions for 424 yards and two touchdowns, while Gilboy helped the Mules finished sixth in the conference in total offense with 311.8 yards per game.
