GRANTHAM, Pa. — Gardiner Area High School graduate Matt Del Gallo finished fourth in the 133-pound weight class at the Messiah Invitational wrestling tournament Saturday.

Del Gallo, a sophomore at Messiah College, earned three pins in the tournament. He pinned Michel Henning of Elizabethtown at 2:58 in his first match, then pinned top seed Alex Crown of Waynesburg at 3:30 in his second match.

He lost a 17-6 decision to teammate Kaleb Loht in his third match, then pinned Jake Vitolo of Waynesburg at 4:30 in his fourth match.

He lost a 14-4 decision to Joe Kidwell of the Coast Guard Academy in the thid place match.
