GORHAM — Maine Central Institute graduate Cinjin Goewey was named one of four captains for the University of Southern Maine wrestling team.

Goewey, a senior, is joined fellow senior Billy Cole, junior Peter Gilman and sophomore Rick Chipman as captains for the Huskies.

Goewey, Cole and Gilman were all captains last season. Chipman is the team's academic captain.

Last season, Goewey earned all-New England and NCAA Scholar all-America honors at 141 pounds. He went 29-11 and 13-4 in dual meet action. He has a career record of 52-29 with 23 pins.
