FARMINGTON — The University of Maine at Farmington field hockey team will host No. 5 Husson in the North Atlantic Conference quarterfinals at noon Saturday at Prescott Field.

The Beavers finished the regular season 8-7-0 overall and 6-3-0 in the conference. Husson, the two-time defending conference champ, finished 8-8-0, 5-4-0 in the conference. This is the third straight postseason that the two teams have faced each other.

The winner plays the winner of No. 1 Castleton State vs. No. 8 Lasell College in the semifinals on Nov. 2.

Also Saturday, No. 6 Thomas College will play at No. 3 New England College. The Terriers finished the regular season 6-11-0 overall, 4-5-0 in the conference. New England College went 9-8-0 overall, 7-2-0 in the conference.

The winner will play the winner of No. 7 Simmons vs. No. 2 St. Joseph's in the semifinals.
